"The Fountains," Sweeny Community Hospital's new 27-unit assisted-living complex, is now open at 1101 E. Second St. in Sweeny, offering one-bedroom and efficiency apartments for people age 62 and older who want the security of knowing help is always available if needed.
    For one monthly fee, residents get an apartment with all utilities except phone and cable paid, daily meals and snacks, transportation, invitations to social events and assistance from aides as needed -- any time day or night.
     Assisted living is for independent adults or those who may need help with activities of daily living. The Fountains is not a nursing home.

     Reservations are being taken now on a first come, first-served basis. A fully refundable reservation deposit of $500 will hold your selection and will become your security deposit upon move in. Additional deposit required for pets.
